Integrations
Handl plugs into the tools you already run on.
Your work lives in one tool, your books in another, your payments somewhere else. Handl connects all three so the money moves on its own.
Here’s the thing nobody tells you about getting paid late — it’s usually not the client. It’s the gap between finishing the work and sending the invoice. The milestone gets ticked off in Monday, then it sits there for two weeks because nobody got around to billing it.
Handl closes that gap. Connect your project tool, your accounting software and Stripe once. After that, a finished milestone triggers an invoice, the invoice syncs to your books, and the payment chases itself. You do the work — the money part runs in the background.
Project management
Where the work actually happens
Handl watches for the milestone or status change that means “this is done and billable,” then kicks off the invoice. No more finished-but-unbilled work rotting in a board.
Monday.com
Mark a milestone complete, Handl bills it. The most common agency setup we see.
Asana
Section or milestone done, invoice triggered. Maps to how agencies already structure projects.
Jira
For the dev shops. Tie billing to epics, sprints or status — bill on delivery, not on memory.
Linear
For teams who run on Linear. Tie billing to completed issues or project milestones.
ClickUp
Custom statuses mapped to your billing triggers — a status flips, the invoice fires.
Trello
Trello support is coming soon — a card moves to a list, the milestone fires.
Each PM integration gets its own setup guide — coming soon.
Time tracking
Hours in, invoice out
For the hourly and retainer side of the shop. Connect the tracker your team already uses and the hours flow into Handl — so the next invoice is built from what was actually worked, not what someone remembered.
Harvest
Tracked hours sync to Handl and land on the next hourly invoice.
Toggl
Your Toggl entries flow through to billing — no export, no spreadsheet.
Clockify
Free-tier favourite, fully supported — hours sync straight into Handl.
Hubstaff
Tracked time comes across with the rest — one less tool to reconcile.
All four are live on every plan.
Accounting
Clean data into the books you already keep
Handl isn't your accounting system and doesn't pretend to be. It pushes clean, paid invoices into Xero as drafts today, with QuickBooks rolling out — so reconciliation isn't a monthly nightmare.
Xero
Live today: paid invoices push to Xero as drafts, ready to send. Your books stay current without the copy-paste.
QuickBooks
Rolling out: draft invoice push is built and going through verification now.
MYOB
MYOB support is on the way for the AU crowd still running it — coming soon.
Deeper accounting sync — coming soon.
Payments
The actual money
Handl never touches your client's card details — Stripe does. You get paid, it lands in your books, the forecast updates.
Stripe
Cards, PayTo and BECS bank debits (AU), ACH (US) and Google Pay — all through the Handl portal. Money hits your account, Handl marks it paid and syncs to your books. Bank payments carry our lowest fee: 0.25% vs 0.5% on cards. PCI compliance handled by Stripe, the highest level there is.
Stripe integration page — coming soon.
Chat & AI
Run your billing from where you already talk
The AI billing agent isn't locked inside the app. Ask it things and tell it things from Slack — and if your team lives in an AI assistant, connect that too.
Slack
The billing agent in your Slack — check what's overdue, draft an invoice, kick off a payment chase without switching tabs. Included on every plan.
Prefer Claude, Cursor or another AI assistant? Handl connects over MCP on Team ($99/mo) and up.
